Affiliate Disclosure

Honesty is the whole point of this site, so here's the deal in plain English.

Some links earn us a commission

A few of the links on Revs & Receipts are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something (for example car parts, tools, a history check, or an insurance quote), we may earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you. The price you pay is exactly the same.

It never changes our recommendations

We only ever point you toward things we'd genuinely suggest. A commission never buys a better review, and our cost figures and buying advice are worked out independently of any commercial relationship. If something's a money pit, we'll say so — affiliate link or not.

Why we use them

Affiliate commissions help cover the cost of running the site (hosting, data, the time spent researching and updating the figures) and keep the tools and guides free to use.

Amazon

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

Spotting them

Where we use affiliate links we aim to make it clear, in line with UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) guidance. If you'd rather not use them, you can always search for the product directly — it makes no difference to you either way.
