Who we are
Revs & Receipts is an independent website about the costs of owning enthusiast cars. We are the data controller for the information described here. You can contact us at hello@revsandreceipts.co.uk.
What we collect
- Your email address — only if you choose to sign up for our inspection checklist or updates.
- Basic technical data — like your IP address and browser type, processed by our hosting provider to deliver the site securely. We don't use this to identify you.
How we use it
- To send you the resource you requested (e.g. the inspection checklist) and occasional related updates about the site.
- To keep the site secure and working.
Our lawful basis for email is your consent, which you give when you submit the form. You can withdraw it at any time (see below).
Who we share it with
We don't sell your data. We use a small number of trusted providers who process data on our behalf:
- MailerLite — stores your email and sends our emails. (their privacy policy)
- Cloudflare — hosts the site and serves it securely. (their privacy policy)
Cookies
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. Our email signup form may set a small number of functional cookies needed for it to work. If we add analytics or advertising in future, we'll update this policy first.
How long we keep it
We keep your email until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, after which it's removed from our mailing list.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to withdraw consent, and to object to or restrict processing. To exercise any of these, email hello@revsandreceipts.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Unsubscribing
Every email we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom — one click and you're off the list. You can also email us to be removed.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above.
